This generation is particularly interested in using AI to streamline operations and inform business strategy.

Baby Boomers: Cautious Yet Engaged

Baby boomers are more cautious about AI, with 36% expressing doubts about its impact. However, nearly half (45%) are still exploring AI skill development. For many in this group, it’s about striking a balance between leveraging new technologies and relying on their deep industry experience.

“Boomers bring a wealth of knowledge to the table,” adds Straub. “For them, it’s about integrating AI without losing the human touch in their work.”

The Generational Common Ground

Despite differences, one thing unites all generations: curiosity about AI. More than half of U.S. workers believe that gaining AI skills will boost their careers. Yet, there’s still hesitation among certain groups, showing a need for education and clarity about AI’s benefits.
